How to Print (GS 8.1)

Previewing

You can view your project before printing it. Choose the menu command File>Print Preview.

The Print Preview dialog box offers the following options:

慎iew one page's worth of program at a time, or two pages side by side

嵩hange POU tabs to view a different block of your program

嫂dvance to the next page; move back to the previous page

弒ncrease (zoom in) or decrease (zoom out) display of the program for previewing purposes

Main Print Selections

Choose the menu command File>Print to access the main Print dialog box.

The main Print dialog box offers the following options:

惹elect a printer

感rint in color or black-and-white

感rint a range of networks or rows from a single project component

感rint multiple project components

Print Options

From within the main Print dialog box, choose the Options button to access the Print Options dialog box.

The Print Options dialog box offers the following options:

感rint the property information associated with your project

感rint the data block property information

感rint line numbers for an STL project

嫂djust the number of columns (width of printout) for a LAD or FBD project

感rint network columns for a LAD or FBD project

Page Setup Selections

Choose the menu command File>Page Setup or click on the Page Setup button from within the main Print dialog box in order to access the Page Setup dialog box.

The Page Setup dialog box offers the following options:

嫂djust left, right, top, bottom margins of printout

嫂djust paper orientation (portrait or landscape)

惹elect paper size

惹elect paper source

Header/ Footer Selections

From within the Page Setup dialog box, click on the Header/ Footer button to access the Header/ Footer dialog box.

The Header/ Footer dialog box allows you to place the following items in a header or footer:

感roject name

慈bject name (such as a POU, symbol table, status chart, or data block)

嵯ate

愁ime

感age number

愈ser text

You can also stipulate whether header and footer items should be left, right, or center justified, and you can create an annotation box for project footers.
